JOYEUX NOEL / HAPPY HOLIDAYS !!!

Joyeux Noel a tout le monde, il est present meme au Vietnam!!! On boucle la boucle a Hanoi... couturiere pour Zoe et optomatriste pour Toan. On marche dans la ville, faite a la maniere d un labyrinthe, on se cherche et on se retrouve plusieurs fois par jour. Zoe a un super sens de l orientation. On s est arrete au musee de la Femme. Toan a appris une chose la : L Homme construit la Maison, la Femme construit la Famille. On a mange un super pomelo en apres-midi question de s hydrater. Et pour le souper de la veille de Noel on mange un plat typiquement du nord, qui est excellent et qui plait au 3, un genre de fondue! Miam!

Happy Holidays everyone !

Vietnam is celebrating Xmas and it is very hot here (25degreesC, not a single snowflake). We are closing our chapter in Hanoi, moving on tonight to Hue by train., picked up my glasses and had a nother pair made as well in one hour!), Zoe picked-up her dresses. We manage NOT to get lost thanks to Zoe who had a fantastic sense of direction. We went to the Women Museum and learn some interesting facts: Men build the House, Women build the Family. We stopped at the Lake of the Restituted Sword in Old Hanoi, ate a pomelo (from the grapefruit family), walked a while and went for supper at a very good Cha Ca (the Hanoi specialty) restaurant. All the family loved it and the service is also very good, present but not obtrusive. Yummy !
